Piraeus is the hub of the Greek ferry network. Frequent ship departures take travelers to the Greek islands. All ferries depart from the main harbor.<\/span><\/p>

On the north side of Piraeus is the main harbor \u2013 one of the largest in the Mediterranean \u2013 serving cargo and passenger ships from around the world, while the south side with two smaller harbors serves as the entertainment district. Starting from Mikrolimano, the small harbor with the <\/span>cosmopolitan atmosphere<\/span>, where you feel like you are on an island, you can find from traditional fish taverns to gourmet restaurants and cocktail bars. A bit more \u201ccasual\u201d Pasalimani, offers you numerous options for coffee or dining with a view of the scenic marina.\u00a0 But if you are looking for something low-key, Peiraiki is the place for you, where you can find small old taverns serving ouzo and fish-meze.<\/span><\/p>
